The Cause

in Wonderland is a celebration of our visionary chocolate and pastry artists of French Manitoba.

Our goal is to ensure continued support for the advancement of Manitoba French speaking students and professionals who wish to become leading chocolatiers or pâtissiers through the pursuit of studies in the culinary field with a focus on the art and technique of chocolate and pastry work.

The money raised through this event will enable these individuals pursuing programs of excellence offered in Manitoba, Canada or elsewhere to fulfill dreams and visions.

$25 of every ticket sold will be donated to the Chocolatier and Pâtissier endowment fund at Francofonds in support of these culinary artists who enrich our lives today, tomorrow and in perpetuity!

Francofonds is Manitoba's French community foundation #1118930502 RR0001. For more information visit

Christophe Morel

Special Guest

Christophe Morel comes from France where, not surprisingly, he was born into a family of pastry chefs. At a young age, he took up the family passion in order to become a master chocolatier. You could say chocolate is in his blood. Today, he is an internationally acknowledged chocolate artisan, whose overarching passion for chocolate, gift for harmonizing flavours, and startling creativity have propelled him to centre stage.

Christophe will be creating an incredible Alice in Wonderland-inspired original chocolate showpiece, which will be auctioned at the event.

About Chocolate

About Chocolate

Chocolate, Theobroma cacao, in its purest form is a natural food filled with vitamins & minerals. On its own or made with a variety of ingredients it is complex and super delicious! It is also a very malleable food item that can be molded and created into beautiful artful pieces... Join us at this extraordinary event to see the possibilities.
